Join Winemaker Thomas Nye and Executive Chef Marco Rossi for our wildly popular five course food and wine pairing at The Blind Horse Winery on August 20 at 6:00 PM. The night starts with a champagne reception in the Tasting Room, followed by dinner among the barrels in our winery. Chef Rossi will prepare a five course dinner for you with each course paired with exquisite wines perfectly matched. Limited seating available, to reserve your spot, you must call the restaurant at 920.467.8599.
As each course is presented to you, we will match a specific wine to each course and discuss how and why the wines match. The cost is $70 a person (does not include tax & tip.)
First Course – Crab meat mousse in a light tarragon mascarpone cheese, served with a French baguette
Second Course - Country style white cannellini bean soup with Prince Edward Mussels
Third Course - Belgium endive salad with gorgonzola & goat cheese, acacia honey and spicy toasted walnuts
Fourth Course - Pan seared pork loin with black current demi glaze & fresh rosemary served over a goat cheese baguette
Fifth Course - French vanilla bean gelato with black pepper strawberry, pernot and fresh mint
