Eddie Biebel on The Patio

February 15, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Eddie Biebel has been performing music for almost fifty years. His distinctive guitar playing, warm baritone and varied repertoire never fail to leave audiences wanting more. Eddie has toured extensively throughout the United
States and Europe, gathering a large and loyal following of fans along the way.

Eddie’s earliest musical influences came from his Irish mother, Elaine, who sang and whistled, seeing Elvis in the 1959 movie “Blue Hawaii” and listening to music on radio and phonograph records. He began playing guitar in 1965 at
the age of ten, taking guitar lessons from, Bill Munday, who also taught future Doobie Brothers’ guitarist/singer/songwriter Patrick Simmons (“Black Water).

From 2003 to 2008, he toured and recorded with Austin, Texas based Wayne “The Train” Hancock, whose albums: “TULSA” and “Ride” (Bloodshot Records) feature Eddie’s dynamic lead guitar playing. In 2009 Eddie released “Rollin’
On”, an acoustic solo CD which showcases his guitar playing and singing on a collection of American rural southern music. Besides Hancock, Eddie has played guitar with master fiddler Vassar Clemments, string wizard Mark
O’Conner, mandolin virtuoso Jethro Burns and the multi-talented Vince Gill and has performed shows alongside legendary artists: Willie Nelson, John Prine, Bill Monroe and Taj Mahal. He has performed at an endless variety of
places, including the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco, the Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, Texas and historic Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
