Sam Guyton on The Patio

Our favorite son returns to The Patio. Sam has played here numerous times, but college at NYU makes it difficult to grab him.  Sam is a rising star and also happens to be the son of Marcell Guyton, in addition to being the front man of the band Generation Z.

As a singer, guitar player, piano player, and dancer, Sam’s talents make him more than just a musician. An all-around entertainer, his passion goes beyond the songs he writes. Really thinking about how everything is going to come together, Sam is driven by his vision for the finished product.

Not chained to what is typically considered “pop music”, Sam’s sound offers something with a little bit more groove and style. Drawing upon some of his older influences – like Michael Jackson and Nile Rogers – and incorporating some vintage sounds into his original music, Sam is creating clean and polished tracks that are rooted in dance grooves.
