A first time appearance at The Blind Horse! From special education teacher to singing with SEAL.
One day a student called him a hypocrite, “Everyday you play your guitar for us (students) and tell us we need to find our calling in life and then pursue it, and here you are with all this talent and you’re doing nothing with it.”
So, that summer he scheduled some shows and after 3 weeks sent a song he wrote into Oprah Winfrey. She liked it so much she had him sing it LIVE on her show for 45 million people. Since then, he plays 250 shows per year, has recorded four albums, won the Bob Dylan Songwriting Award twice, had a song inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame, was a semi-finalist for X-Factor, and two years ago sang with Seal (Kiss from a Rose) in a Super Bowl 50 commercial. Now he joins us!
